I am a feminist who lives with my husband, and two teenage daughters. I became a feminist after becoming increasingly aware of the distance society has yet to travel to equality, particularly in the way women are seen and (de)valued, while watching my children grow up. Having left my career in research in 2002 to be a full time mother I now work in admin while studying sociology, philosophy, visual culture and web studies.
